#Red4WED: World Encephalitis Day

World Encephalitis Day (Thursday, 22nd of February 2024) is part of Encephalitis International’s ongoing mission to raise awareness of the devastating neurological condition known as encephalitis.
Despite affecting more than 500,000 people globally each year, encephalitis remains relatively unknown when compared to other neurological conditions. The prevalence of encephalitis is rising not only in Australia but also worldwide.
2024 holds immense significance for Encephalitis International, as it commemorates their 30th anniversary as a charitable organisation.
Old Treasury Building will be lit in red for this event from sunrise to sunset.
