In honour of the passing of Neale Daniher AO

In tribute to Neale Daniher AO, landmark buildings across Melbourne and Victoria will be lit up in blue tonight.
Neale rose to fame as a player with the Essendon Football Club and as a coach with Melbourne Football Club. He went on to achieve national acclaim as a health campaigner in his fight against motor neurone disease. In 2025, Neale was named Australian of the Year, in recognition of his outstanding advocacy and fundraising in the fight against MND.
Old Treasury Building will be lit in blue for this event from sunrise to sunset.
