Discovering the Channel Islands
23 November at 10:30 AM - 11:30 AMA$8
The Channel Islands lie off the off the French coast of Normandy. They include two Crown dependencies: the Bailiwick of Jersey, and the Bailiwick of Guernsey, consisting of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm and some smaller islands. They are considered the remnants of the Duchy of Normandy. Think treasure hordes, Victor Hugo, World War II occupation, tax haven, island life and much more… This lecture will reveal the rich, colourful and engaging history of these extraordinarily beautiful islands. One of my all time favourite destinations!
This lecture is being presented using Zoom by Kenneth Park and Old Treasury Building Museum.
The link will be emailed to attendees prior to the event.
Please note, this lecture will not be recorded.
