In this beautifully illustrated second lecture of our two part series we try to make sense of Renaissance architecture which was a period of architecture that impacted Europe from the early 15th and early 16th centuries in different regions. It was noteworthy for its celebration and revival of certain elements of ancient Greek and Roman thought and material culture.
