Diana, Princess of Wales; The Jewels of a Modern Day Princess

1 February at 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

More than 20 years after the tragic death of Diana, Princess of Wales, her style and fashions are still legendary. This talk focuses on her many stunning jewels which together with her beautiful and trendsetting clothes, made her one of the most iconic and stylishly photographed princesses of the 20th century.

Diana’s jewels and how they are now being worn by her daughter-in-law, as well as historical jewels owned by the late Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, form part of this modern day Royal jewellery journey.

Our presenter, Adrian Dickens is a jeweller with 40 years’ experience in modern, estate and antique jewellery. He is a popular lecturer travelling throughout Australia and internationally, sharing his passion and extensive knowledge about the world’s finest jewels to audiences. The stories he relates about renowned women and men and their jewels are fascinating, and reveal his penchant for research.

This lecture is being presented using Zoom by Kenneth Park and Old Treasury Building Museum.
